In a dystopian near future, single people, according to the laws of The City, are taken to The Hotel, where they are obligated to find a romantic partner in forty-five days or are transformed into beasts of their choice and sent off into The Woods. This darkly comic fable centers on recently-divorced David as he searches for a new love after his wife leaves him for another man. Directed by acclaimed Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos and starring Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz. Nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the Academy Awards and for the Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival. Winner of the Jury Prize at Cannes.
