Seniors Finding WACI Group Mondays Informative and Rewarding
Weekly attendance has increased nearly five-fold since WACI Mondays Group was moved to the national stage at Senior Planet from AARP. The audience has grown larger since the class schedule was moved earlier this month from the Denver newsletter to the Senior Planet online class schedule.
The one-year anniversary of the class is today as we continue to help enrich senior adult lives by sharing the technology skills we have learned. Judy and I still eagerly offer information about browsers and search engines, programs and applications, backups and updates, online privacy and safety, shopping for bargains and discounts, entertainment and more.
We want fellow seniors to safely and confidently enjoy the benefits they can realize by using computers and smartphones to explore the “world’s most amazing electronic library.”
Are you a boomer or silent gen? Retired or not you can enjoy insights and tips we eagerly share. Have a challenge? Ask a question. If we can’t solve it perhaps another participant can. Or we will research the answer for you. While online make sure you stay tuned in for Judy’s WACI Monday humor – it’s a ‘blast!’
Senior Planet is the flagship program of the national nonprofit OATS (Older Adults Technology Services) from AARP. Founded in 2004, OAT’s mission is “to help seniors learn and use technology, so they could live better in the digital age.”
