Buffalo Grove Baby Party Event At Continental Finally Arrives
The big day was finally here. The invitations have been sent and the guests responded. The number of centerpieces is set at eight, one for each table. We will attach three balloons to each of the custom baby gift basket centerpieces to brighten up the room. Of course the balloon colors are baby blue and white to go with the baby theme.
The custom party gift basket centerpieces, balloons and wine bottles are ready to be delivered to Buffalo Grove’s own Continental Restaurant. Everything is loaded into our van to be delivered. We have just a short drive to the restaurant since the party is being held in Buffalo Grove.
We are fortunate and land the closest parking space available, just adjacent to the door. We bring the centerpieces and the wine bottles into Continental. The balloons were pre inflated so there was no need to bring a helium tank. A few extra were inflated to allow for breakage and ‘leakers’.
The special wine bottles with their custom labels are displayed on a table to the side of the room. We printed a sign welcoming everyone and placed it near the wine bottles. It told the guests that the wine bottles were a gift to them and that they could take one per family.
Balloons Added To The Baby Basket Centerpieces
Each baby basket centerpiece was wrapped in cello wrap. A ribbon held the wrap together at the neck. It was designed this way so balloons could be tied directly to the centerpiece basket’s ribbon. Two baby blue and one white balloon were pre-inflated with helium for each of the eight centerpiece baskets.
I attached the balloons to the centerpieces. I always make sure the balloons are at the same height for each basket centerpiece. It is important to make a good visual appearance. Then each basket centerpiece was carefully placed on the guest tables.
When we arrived to do the set up for the party the restaurant had already put out three balloons on each of the tables. They were conveniently left from the previous day’s party. However, since we had brought balloons with us, we did not need those other balloons.
We had all these balloons and wanted to do something with them. We decided to make a column from the extra balloons rather than just throw them away. The column extended from the floor to about six feet into the air. We placed them in a prominent place in the front of the room next to the wine table. labels. It was a great addition to the party décor and made the room look very festive.
The room looked beautiful and all that remained was for Rachel and all her guests to have a wonderful afternoon celebrating the amazing birth of little Michael.
Mazel Tov to all! And L’Chaim.
