Buffalo Grove Baby Party Celebration Wine Bottle Give Aways
At this stage Rachel has sent out the custom invitations for the baby’s party. The centerpieces for baby Michael’s upcoming party in Buffalo Grove were also designed. We were awaiting the responses to the invitations for baby Michael’s party.
It was time to focus on the next phase in the party planning process while we waited.
Rachel wanted a special gift give-a-way for her guests. The party give-a-way was intended to be a thank you for coming to Michael’s party. We brain stormed several items she could give to the party guests. Nothing seemed to appeal to Rachel at first. Then she came up with the idea to give away wine bottles as gifts for the baby’s party guests.
Then I suggested personalized labels for the wine bottles. Personalizing the bottles of wine would be a good remembrance of the time they spent at baby Michael’s party.
Some wine bottles have only one label while others have two labels. Those selected had both a front and a back label. I therefore designed two labels to reflect baby Michael’s emerging personality. I emailed several design samples to Rachel.
The front label (see Custom Wine Bottle Give Away Front Label) introduced Michael to his guests. It had much the same details as the invitation. I included the date, height, weight and time of birth.
The back label (see Custom Wine Bottle Give Away Back Label) listed some traits that Michael already exhibited at even such a young age. I listed facts such as cuteness and hugability. “Qualities to nurture” included trust, patience, responsibility, empathy and self reliance. At the end I included a well known verse: “Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails, that’s what little boys are made of.”
She picked one of the custom designed labels and purchased the bottles of wine. She dropped them off at my studio and I printed the labels.
The next challenge was properly affixing the label to the wine bottle. It had to be done without any of the underneath label showing. The new label was the exact same size as the existing bottle label. Thus precise placement was very critical.
The back label had to be put on at the exact distance from the ends of the front label. Otherwise it would not be aesthetically pleasing to those with an eye for detail. Of course just getting the label straight was a trick in itself!
I was able to properly place all the personalized labels on the wine bottles. The wine bottles and new labels were ready to deliver to the party. There they would be put on display for guests at baby Michael’s Buffalo Grove event.
At this point there was nothing left to do except wait until all the invitation responses were in. Then we could determine how many centerpieces were needed.
Coming up next. Baby Michael’s party day is here and all the planning comes together for one fantastic day!
