What Comprises The DIY Beach Centerpiece?
The weather in the Midwest is absolutely dreadful enticing me to think of warm places and sunny spaces. What can I do to brighten up our dreary winter day? I then thought about our beach centerpiece! Just looking at the centerpiece I can envision a day at the beach and the warmth of the sun on my face. I can feel the warm sand between my toes even as I write this.
What comprises this DIY beach centerpiece you ask? This centerpiece is made with a Styrofoam base ribboned in theme color(s) of the event. A Styrofoam palm tree cut out that has a flexible plastic tube filled with shred, to represent the trunk of the palm tree, adorns the centerpiece. A bright yellow sun cut out, wearing sunglasses, on a long dowel which is also ribboned in the theme color stretches above the centerpiece. A dolphin jumping over ready made poofs and play sand covering the Styrofoam base complete the beach theme idea.
Other theme pieces can be added to this centerpiece such as a little lounge chair with perhaps a magazine and towel on it. A little table and chair set can be put onto the base and even a glass on the table to represent a cool drink on a very hot day.
The video below shows how you can make this Do It Yourself beach theme centerpiece. This centerpiece is suitable for any event and can be customized for your Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah, wedding, anniversary, retirement or birthday party. Table numbers can be put on the sun instead of the sun glasses or perhaps putting the celebrant’s favorite magazine on the lounge chair should you choose to put one on the centerpiece. There are many things that can be done with this centerpiece.
You are only limited by your imagination so dream on!!!
