DIY Centerpiece suitable for any event

We are asked all the time when centerpieces can be expected. If they are being shipped the delivery time depends upon two factors, number of centerpieces ordered and where the centerpieces are going. We are located in northern Illinois and it takes UPS four days to ship to the west coast and two to three days to the east coast.  If you order centerpieces for your special event such as a Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah, wedding, anniversary, birthday celebration, etc., you must allow ample time to receive the centerpieces and to put them together. When we ship the centerpieces, there will always be some assembly required. It would be very costly, if not impossible, to ship centerpieces completely assembled to make sure they would not break in transit.

Snow can delay delivery of your centerpieces

To avoid severe weather compromising your delivery date,  it is even more important to order centerpieces far enough in advance to allow time in case there is a delay. {Note: The picture to the right, as posted by Amie Schaenzer in the Naperville Patch, shows snow in the Midwest.}  It is not only snow (and other severe weather issues) here, but where you are as well as the hub city for the delivery service used, which may affect delivery time.

Sometimes we get a phone call from someone in California on a Thursday ordering centerpieces for that weekend. Short of taking a plane and delivering the centerpieces in person, it is impossible to deliver the centerpieces there in that time frame. Next day shipping is available, but is extremely costly.

Not only is the shipping time critical, but since all centerpieces are custom made, there is a time factor needed to create the centerpieces. Therefore, a good time to order the centerpieces would be about two weeks or more before the event. This should give ample time to receive the centerpieces and final assemble them.

If the centerpieces are for a local party and will be picked up or delivered to the party location, delivery time depends upon when the party is (click for free planning guide) scheduled and access to the facility.  Centerpieces can be picked up at our location or we can deliver them to the party venue and set them up there for you if you wish.
