Balloon Decoration Setup For Bat Mitzvah Party Celebration
This past weekend we helped Jessica and her family and guests celebrate her bat mitzvah party event. We were delighted to decorate the banquet room with balloon centerpieces. The colorful accent pieces really added to the atmosphere while adding height and focusing the normal eye view away from the tables.
Just see the effect decorative balloons made on the room from the before and after pictures.
Each centerpiece had a simple, but elegant balloon weight with five balloons tied to each weight in theme colors. There were two each lime green balloons and hot pink balloons as well as a tiger stripe balloon topped off each balloon bouquet.
We make the balloon centerpiece weights by wrapping either sand or pea gravel in mylar paper. I then tie an attractive bow around each. We call these our ‘just add sand’ centerpieces. Other accent pieces can easily be added to theme centerpieces as well. See samples and vie the video how to at our baby shower centerpiece page.
For do it yourselfers you can use water balloons wrapped in cloth napkins. We were forced to use water balloons one day for an emergency party set up. We were just wrapping up a party centerpiece and balloon set up. The banquet manager approached us and asked for our help and assistance. Another provider failed to show for the event. We miraculously had balloons in the car in the event’s theme colors and were able to rescue the day.

The party was celebrated in Glenview, Illinois. We have balloon color samples available in our Buffalo Grove, Illinois office. Hours are by appointment only.
