Judy put together this do it yourself July 4th centerpiece using these clear flexible plastic tubes. These tubes add a display of color and height without much weight. They are unbreakable so transportation is easy.
Take some styrofoam, the tubes, mylar papers add some shred, ribbon and appropriate festive decorations and wallah!
Additional items you will need include: silver paint that applies to styrofoam without destroying it, straight pins to secure the ribbon, a low temperature glue gun with glue sticks and possibly a small level.
