We thought you could easily use it as an childrens activity for children also.

Tall Custom Sports Jersey Centerpieces Made With Flexible Plastic Tubes

Bar Mitzvah Basketball Theme Centerpiece

We did this basketball theme sports bar mitzvah centerpiece a while back.  I also stayed and oversaw part of the party, coordinating the event timings and happenings.

This is a real basketball on a styrofoam base with a team pennant.  Coordinating ribbon and paper poofs accent the event color theme.
