Custom Centerpieces For Buffalo Grove Baby Party Celebration
Rachel was delighted with the invitations that we designed. She assembled them and mailed them out.
Rachel came to my studio after the invitations were in the mail to discuss custom party centerpieces for the upcoming event.
I advise my clients that it is best to concentrate on one item for the party at a time. That way it does not get too overwhelming by trying to accomplish too much at one time. It was now time to think about the centerpieces since Rachel had mailed out the invitations for baby Michael’s party.
Rachel wanted items that could be used once the party was over rather than merely thrown away. I suggested a gift basket party centerpiece with baby items. She liked the idea of things Michael could use and we proceeded.
I designed a gift basket centerpiece for each of the guest tables at the party. They would each have usable baby items in the basket. We felt Michael’s mother, Rachel’s daughter, would appreciate using the items for baby Michael.
Each party centerpiece was different and contained items for baby Michael that were not duplicated in the other baskets. There was baby oil, baby powder, teething toys, books to read, a blanket, shampoo, baby fork and spoon set, training cup, baby wipes and many other helpful and necessary items for baby care.
I chose baskets around the same size but not the exact same shape. This made an aesthetically pleasing view of all the basket centerpieces filled with colorful items in different shape baskets. Each gift basket centerpiece was wrapped in cello wrap and tied with a baby blue ribbon bow. I attached a pair of baby socks to each basket hanging below the baby blue ribbon bow.
On our website we have a chronological list of things to do for a party, our Free Mitzvah Planning Guide. I advise all my clients (and you) to download that form. Check off all the items once they have been accomplished.
Rachel now had two items to check off her list: invitations and party centerpieces. Rachel could relax for a while while the responses came back. Then she would know how many centerpieces she would need based on the table count.
The party ended up having 60 people so there were 8 guest tables. Baby Michael received eight basket cenerpieces filled with items his Mom could use for him or toys he could play with.
