We always have fun making our tall sports centerpieces with t-shirts or sports jerseys.  This one was a little different in as much the t-shirt was actually made from polystyrene.  It was painted with water based paint, hand detailed and customized with team name on the front and player name (see picture below) on the back.

The t-shirts are elevated some 16″ to 24″ using our clear, flexible plastic tubes.   Here the tubes were filled with gold shred.  The styrofoam bottom base is ribboned and sprayed.  Paper poofs are double functioned – they add decorative color and hide the construction – to both the top and bottom bases.  The custom centerpiece is accented with a mock player card and a team pennant.

For do it yourselfers using real t-shirts or sports jerseys, there is a ready made t-shirt card stock pattern available, or you can easily cut one yourself. Our kit readily supports the weight of a jersey. You can also add balloons.
